Rocket Bakery has taken off, and with 13 years of hard work from Jeff and Julia, they are enjoying a fulfilling business that allows them to stay in touch with neighborhoods and their customers. Their hand made pastries are a delicious way to start the day, and the reason they went into business. The location in Millwood, on Argonne Road, was their first shop. They now have nine store all over Spokane serving coffee, tea, pastries and other goodies.

After living in Spokane all her life and working as a grocery store baker, opening a dessert shop was something Stefanie Mehaffey just needed to do. With the support of her husband and young daughter, she opened the door at the corner of Northwest Boulevard and Lindeke in the Spring of 2006. From the start the the specialty dessert shop has been a success.

Stefanie shares a building with a Pet Clinic. If she outgrows this space she will look for another location in the neighborhood. Stefanie is always looking for ways to better serve her loyal customers.
