Located on north Washington Street in Spokane, Pottery Place Plus is an artist's co-operative offering locally made fine craft and functional art.

The co-op was started in 1978 by a group of local artists looking for an outlet for their work --a place where their customers could always find them. The co-op is big enough that there is always something going on, but small enough that the people are always friendly.

This artist creates and installs custom designed stained glass windows for homes and businesses. Isaac specializes in hand-beveled and bonded glass. He creates his works for his clients so the art will tie into the decor and reflect the ambiance that the client is looking for.

He began his journey into glass art while pursuing an art degree in Anchorage, Alaska. While working for an art glass artist there, he learned and fell in love with the craft. His wife Mina and Isaac discovered Spokane while visiting friends, and decided it was the place they wanted to be.

Felipe traveled to Mexico in 1985 after graduating from the University of Texas arriving in Guatemala where the inspiration for his work is derived. Working with a Mayan organization, he met and interacted with several Mayan artisans.

Felipe's business came into being as a result of his desire to help and support the Mayan artisans and their culture.

His wife now travels to Guatemala twice a years and meets with a part-time employee to receive goods and have them shipped to his place of business.

Pounder's Jewelry is a full service jewelry store including custom jewelry design and watch repair. Jim Pounder started out in watch repair and gradually, with the help of wife Colleen, expanded the business to its present form in a building purchased in 1994.

Jim is born and raised in Spokane. Pounder's is a true family business with three generations assisting the people of Spokane in selecting just the right item for whatever the occasion might be.
